Public bug reported:

If an openvpn connection has the private key password set to "Ask for
this password everytime", when an incorrect password is typed into the
prompt upon connecting, rather than reprompt for the password on
password failure (or immediately fail), nm-openvpn just reattempts the
same password over and over for a minute.

The following is repeated in the logs every 2 seconds:
Oct 10 13:48:02 mubuntu nm-openvpn[27181]: NOTE: the current --script-security
setting may allow this configuration to ca
Oct 10 13:48:02 mubuntu nm-openvpn[27181]:
SIGUSR1[soft,private-key-password-failure] received, process restarting

The workaround is to wait a minute for some sort of timeout to occur or go into
the settings and flip the "Ask for this password everytime" option to force a
reprompt.
