** Changed in: gjs (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged ** Description changed:
We have had several reports of new GNOME Shell crashes in Debian following the upload of gjs 1.50.2-3 and 1.50.3-1. (The first upload cherry-picked some patches, the second dropped the patches since they were applied in the new release). The intent of the patches was to add crash information to the systemd journal for easier troubleshooting One crash in particular is reported to be triggered when plugging in or unplugging in a USB stick. You might need to have the Places status extension enabled (it can be found in the gnome-shell-extensions package). https://salsa.debian.org/gnome- team/gjs/blob/debian/master/debian/changelog + + Reported upstream at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gjs/issues/33 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gjs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1744960 Title: gjs 1.50.3 introduces crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gjs/+bug/1744960/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
