Public bug reported: Hi,
I just tested the upcoming 18.04 release from a network behind a web proxy without direct internet access. Although I have set the proxy in the desktop settings and other programs (e.g. this bug report) honor and use the proxy, rhythmbox complains that there is no network and seems to completely ignore proxy settings. regards ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04 Package: rhythmbox 3.4.2-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-10.11-generic 4.15.3 Uname: Linux 4.15.0-10-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.8-0ubuntu10 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Mon Mar 12 13:22:46 2018 InstallationDate: Installed on 2018-03-05 (7 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Alpha amd64 (20180305) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm-256color PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: rhythmbox UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) XorgLog: Error: [Errno 2] Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden: '/var/log/Xorg.0.log' ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1755174 Title: rhythmbox ignores proxy settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/1755174/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
