So, I've freshly installed the release version of Xubuntu 18.04 and applied updates, and now Gnome-Mines uninstalls as expected.
However, the "SGT Puzzles Collection" which came bundled with Xubuntu still refuses to uninstall properly. Gnome Software says it's removed, yet that cluster of games still appears on the XFCE menu and is launchable. Cheers, Ken. *** ** Attachment added: "SGT games collection still seen on XFCE menu but removed according to Gnome Software.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1766758/+attachment/5132547/+files/SGT%20games%20collection%20still%20seen%20on%20XFCE%20menu%20but%20removed%20according%20to%20Gnome%20Software.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1766758 Title: Gnome software can uninstall some programs but not others To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1766758/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
