Simos, GNOME Software keeps running in the background. After updating GNOME Software on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, you either need to log out and log back in or run a command like:
pkill gnome-software On Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, GNOME Software should recognize that it has been updated and it will prompt you to restart the app so the above workaround isn't needed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1661590 Title: GNOME Software only supports running one application from a snap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-software/+bug/1661590/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
