hi there, i've been trying to find the time to do a little video, but in the meantime i have some more details:
- related bug: pressing lock (super+l) does effectively "lock" the machine in that it prevents input/interaction, but does not hide the desktop. pressing it a second time displays the lock screen - further detail: bug where desktop is displayed only happens to me when I close the laptop lid, rather than locking it manually, presumably because when I lock I hit super+l twice because of the above. - to resume from "broken-lock" i need to press the lock key to display the password input screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1800352 Title: screen lock leaves desktop and current applications displayed unless activated twice To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1800352/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
