Hello, For the record I reproduce this bug on a fresh new install of Ubuntu 18.10.
As it sounds like a 7-months-old critical security bug, I'm very interested in a reliable workaround. Should I remove gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock, and install upstream Dash to dock from https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/307/dash-to- dock/ ?
