Hello. Tried this suggestion today (setting "__GL_MaxFramesAllowed=1" in /etc/environment, and rebooting). It might have decreased my CPU usage, I am not certain. However what I am sure of is that it does no fix the 60hz framerate issue with multiple monitors, on NVIDIA. So have now reported the bug over on NVIDIA's forum.
