Actually that's a good point but I would go lower level than that... In order to find out if the problem is coming from the hardware or the kernel please:
0. Open a Terminal window. 1. Run: sudo apt install evtest 2. Run: sudo evtest | tee evtest.txt 3. Select the mouse and leave it running (text will scroll as you move the mouse). 4. DON'T use the real right click at all from now on... 5. Wait till the bug happens and then Ctrl+C in the Terminal window. 6. Attach the file 'evtest.txt' here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850627 Title: Right click happens automatically, disturbs work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1850627/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
