I can't seem to reproduce the problem just yet (using 20.04 with Intel graphics).
My first two ideas are: * Maybe this is related to Terminal's broken transparency (bug 561370) * Maybe it's Nvidia-specific. That log message "Not using GLX TFP" is from the mutter compositor code.
