I've tried it on Ubuntu 18.04.3 with a Galaxy A70, and it was extremely slow in every directory which contained more than 50-100 files. (a simple ls command needed about 2 minutes in a directory with 110 files) But it seems to be a general bug, not OS or distribution dependent, because I've tried it on the latest Fedora with a newer gvfs, but the result was the same: very, very slow... It is possibly an Android bug. (?Is it possible?)
