Public bug reported:

The control center has no pre-made shortcut for screen brightnesss.
There should at least be an option for screen brightness up and down, as
there is for sound volume up and down, even if no keys are set by
default. As it is, one has to make a complex work-around involving a
shell script and fiddling with /etc/sudoers. Please add pre-made
shortcuts for brightness up and brightness down under the section for
Keyboard Shortcuts.
