For me, gdm3 42.0-1ubuntu4 breaks Wayland entirely. There is no option to select a session left when logging in, and when I enter my password and press enter I'm left in an X11 session.
I only have machines with Intel graphics. Reverting to 42.0-1ubuntu2 makes it work normally again (defaults to Wayland, with an option to select "Ubuntu on Xorg"). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968809 Title: Verify that the gdm cherry-picks are wanted for jammy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1968809/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
