As the reporter of this bug I'm marking this as being fixed. For some time I've been seeing the Livepatch icon that was missing when I reported this bug over two months ago. I have no idea what caused the icon to appear several days or weeks later but as far as I am concerned the issue was resolved some time ago.
If anyone is still seeing the lack of a Livepatch icon then please advise. The 'Fixed Released' status can then be reverted to 'Confirmed' and the issue investigated by the relevant development team. ** Changed in: gnome-shell-extension-appindicator (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell-extension-appindicator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1969855 Title: Livepatch status icon does not appear in top bar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-livepatch-client/+bug/1969855/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
