As the reporter of this bug I'm marking this as being fixed. For some
time I've been seeing the Livepatch icon that was missing when I
reported this bug over two months ago. I have no idea what caused the
icon to appear several days or weeks later but as far as I am concerned
the issue was resolved some time ago.

If anyone is still seeing the lack of a Livepatch icon then please
advise. The 'Fixed Released' status can then be reverted to 'Confirmed'
and the issue investigated by the relevant development team.

** Changed in: gnome-shell-extension-appindicator (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Fix Released
