I think is a environment variable we know DISPLAY and some xorg.conf tweaks (edid, modevalidation maybe) under wayland i echo display like this: echo $DISPLAY it returns :1 Ihave built-in and an external monitor echo $WAYLAND_DISPLAY ; returns wayland-0 and when i unset DISPLAY, under wayland games performance is better and less glitches ...
