Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-session

In feisty, when I log in the machine got all the memory of the system
(physical and swap) so I need to do a hard boot.

Looking to the cause, there are a many compiz process. I don't have
enable desktop effects (don't have activate the hardware accel).

 7303 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/bin/compiz --use-cow --strict-
binding --indirect-rendering gconf

# ps ax | grep compiz | wc -l
278

It seems that some scripts on the login process enter on loops so it
launch too many compiz process.

This is a upgraded system from edgy -> feisty.

** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
