Okay, I tested again and I cannot reproduce that #3 bug in neither 3.44.1-0ubuntu1 nor 3.44.4-0ubuntu1[1].
However, there is a problem in Xorg for both versions: Two identical dialog windows pop up for Oauth2 authentication when including a new account. It is a non-blocking bug though, because responding to either window causes the mail to be correctly retrieved. Interestingly, interrupting Evolution (i.e. Ctrl+C) causes one and only one of those pop-up windows to survive. Since it only happens on Xorg, it could be related to LP: #1983794.
