We're aware of this bug and it is already fixed upstream. In the meantime you can add a workaround to /etc/environment:
MUTTER_DEBUG_DISABLE_HW_CURSORS=1 and then reboot. This workaround mode is also what the screen recorder uses. ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => mutter (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Committed ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Daniel van Vugt (vanvugt) ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues #2957 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2957 ** Also affects: mutter via https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2957 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Tags added: fixed-in-mutter-45 fixed-upstream ** Tags added: cursor -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2033566 Title: Cursor drawn incorrectly on portrait mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mutter/+bug/2033566/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
