I can totally confirm this issue affecting my Thinkpad P14s with Ryzen 7 is fixed by the mutter release in Proposed. Eabling the Prodosed repo did not get me any updates but after installing mutter with "sudo apt install -t mantic-proposed mutter" all is well in town :)
