I'm having a similar problem, but I don't know if it's related: I'm using Ubuntu 24.04, Firefox from Mozilla PPA (so no Snap), and I get this error in the journalctl -b: mai 23 15:39:24 glados firefox.desktop[8963]: [Parent 8963, IPC I/O Parent] WARNING: process 47676 is a zombie: file /builds/worker/checkouts/gecko/ipc/chromium/src/base/process_util_posix.cc:245 It freezes all my session, not just the Firefox, and I need to long press the power button to turn off the machine.
