Public bug reported:

Volume OSD is missing name for audio output when adjusting volume. Is
this a design choice of GNOME developers for version 50? Because the
same is observable on Fedora 44 and i really don't like it.

Now i don't know what audio output is being used. Default Line Out or
Headphones? Or my Pipewire Virtual Surround Sink? Can you modify this
behaviour and revert back previous OSD. At least from accessiblity point
of view this should be unacceptable and is annoying AF..

At least give me gsettings terminal command to revert back to previous
look.

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
