Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
Release: 26.04
Installed: 50.0-0ubuntu3.1
Candidate: 50.0-0ubuntu3.1
Version table:
*** 50.0-0ubuntu3.1 500

If you have an iPhone connected to your computer and try to log into
your user account, the system will softlock on a black screen, probably
because the popup window asking you to unlock your phone prevents GNOME
from starting the session.

This is also an issue if you simply want to charge your phone and don’t
care about unlocking it. The popup window keeps coming back non stop
until you eventually give up and grant access.
