I still can't reproduce. It smells like a thumbnail caching issue. Please can you backup the existing cache in case it's useful for future debugging,
tar czf ~/thumbcache-$(date +%Y%m%d-%H%M%S).tar.gz -C ~/.cache thumbnails It might be large, but no need to upload it.
