Public bug reported:
i am using Edubuntu 24.0.4 (based on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS)
Issues:
1. GNOME Settings app crashes randomly on opening.
2. Extensions app crashes.
3. Dock auto-hides like macOS and does not reappear sometimes.
4. Animations are laggy and sound effects mute automattically.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open settings from dock
- Open Extentions
- System freezes / app closes
Expected: Settings and Extensions should open normally, dock should stay
visible.
Actual: Apps crash, dock dissapears, lag in animations
This started after fresh install of Edubuntu 24.04.4.
