Public bug reported: There's no way to turn off the screen capture function when the screen is locked.
There's no option in "Settings" -> "Privacy & Security" -> "Screen Lock" to turn off the screen capture function. == Steps to reproduce == 1. In the Ubuntu 26.04 GNOME desktop, open "Settings" app. 2. Navigate to "Privacy & Security" -> "Screen Lock" and see there's no "Allow screen capture when screen is locked" or similar option. 3. Press "Super+L" to lock screen. 4. Click on the upper-right corner of the screen (the "System Tray"-like thing), and then click the screen capture icon. See the screen capturing is allowed. == Expected result == User should be able to turn off screen capture in the lock screen if they wish. Reason: We can reasonably assume when the user locks their screen, they are AFK (away from keyboard) and they may not want anyone else to tinker with their computer until it's unlocked. Allowing screen capture can cause unauthorized writes to disk. (Imagine when a kid does so and floods their parent's computer with lots of useless lock screen captures.) I acknowledge that capturing the lock screen can be useful in some situations (such as making screenshots when writing guides and tutorials), but the user should be able to turn it off if they don't want it.
