Why don't you ask the nice people of wiki.ekiga.org to do so. Can't they compile and pack the missing debs for ubuntu? Why must every task done 50 times or more in the linux world?
OT: about me and ubuntu: @Sebastian: You can call me an advanced user. Working with computers for 20 years. What I can do is installing OS, using application and advice friends and family how to use ubuntu and give them clues and simple workarounds. When I find a bug or see that there is something missing: ex. tb-adressbook support missing in OO, nautilus-sendto absolutly not working and of course ekiga out of date, I file a bug report. From my point of view those little bugs are more important. Those are bugs an average users comes in contact with. They ask me, why it doesn't work. What are 100's or more hourse of your manpower worth, if not a simple desktop application like nautilus-sendto work at all. Don't get me wrong, I am standing 100% behind ubuntu. No other OS, nothing else. Otherwise I wouldn't write this text. Thank you and all other experts. -- ekiga is not updated in feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99193 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for ekiga in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
