This seems to be only, when the picture is the onlyest in the folder.

console output:

$ eog 15000-Unwetterhimmel.jpg 
save exif data

(eog:9143): Eog-CRITICAL **: eog_wrap_list_set_current_image: assertion
`EOG_IS_IMAGE (image)' failed

I think the error message comes, becouse when there are more pictures in
a folder eog switches to the next after safing - in a folder where only
one picture exists it failes. And after this action the print menu does
not work anymore. I think it does not have anything to do with rotating
but it's a easy way for testing becouse (I hope) the image does not lost
quality.
