Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

In Beryl under Feisty (did not have this problem in Edgy), Totem (both
totem-xine and totem-gstreamer) always crashes upon launching any kind
of media file. If I run "totem" simply, I get the regular startup
window and logo, but if I open a file, either with the command line or
open-file dialog, it instantly crashes. Needless to say, the mozilla
plugin is doa as well. I get this output:

The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 48 error_code 11 request_code 141 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Totem seems to work ok in Metacity. I'm using an Intel 82852/855GM
Integrated Graphics controller and i810 driver in an Acer Aspore 3690
laptop.

Thanks
