I forgot to say I have only reproduced this on Feisty and Gutsy. Okay, let's say it like this:
I think this is a bug because a user who inserts his cd and hits the < Make Another Copy > button on the popup is not told the disk his not mounted yet, but rather is just reprompted to insert the disk she/he has already inserted. This is confusing to a user and therefore from an interface perspective I believe I properly judge it as a bug. The button overlay problem is closely related to this, because the user is more likely to make the mistake of mispressing <cancel> after getting used to hitting the other button over and over until the popup quits prompting, but it sounds like a good suggestion to make another bug for it...Okay I've added the second part as bug 122048.
