Ubuntu 7.10, Gutsy. Updated the 26th of June.

Using 'Add/Remove Programs' to install Inkscape. The menu icon is there
but does nothing, doesn't even invoke apport to collect bug information.

Starting on the command line gives:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ inkscape
inkscape: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpangomm-1.4.so.1: undefined symbol:
_ZN4Glib13wrap_registerEjPFPNS_10ObjectBaseEP8_GObjectE
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

** Affects: inkscape (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Medium
     Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs
         Status: Confirmed
