I think I just found a new showstopper bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=550647 When mounting volumes with GIO, if the mount helper does not return its console output at once (for instance for an internal floppy disk), the mounting application freezes until the entire buffer is read. This is particularly problematic as Nautilus tries to automount all volumes on startup. If you don't run a volume monitor, it is assumed that an internal floppy disk is present and you end up with a ~30 second application freeze at each startup. best regards, Christian Neumair -- Christian Neumair <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
