'Connect to Server ...' does not bring up any message if the IP had previously been allocated to another machine. Here I was trying to connect to a box that got a DHCP-address being given to another box earlier, and Nautilus simply did not display anything, and neither connected. Trying on the command line, I found the well-known warning by ssh, that the fingerprint had changed. After I had deleted the entry in .ssh/known_hosts, Nautilus connected properly.
I'd expect a pop-up by Nautilus instead of silence. If this is a bug/RFE, I will file it. Uwe -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
