Firefox 3 in u97 is broken. You can download a contribute Firefox 3.0.1 on mozilla.org as a workaround. http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0.1/contrib/solaris_tarball/
It will be fixed in u99.
