To workaround this, please take the Firefox 3.0.1 contributed builds: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0.1/contrib/solaris_pkgadd/firefox-3.0.1.en-US.opensolaris-i386-pkg.bz2.
