Hi, I'm trying to see if there is any way to disable tooltips for the Notification applet. There was a tooltip setting for the Notification applet, but it wasn't even set and could not be set. I found a global tooltips_enabled setting under apps->panel->global, but disabling it didn't work. I googled this setting and it seems broken and will not be fixed since global tooltips is now handled by setting gtk-enable-tooltips to false in ~/.gtkrc. However, it requires gtk 2.14 while we only have gtk 2.0. Anyone else had any luck?
