Hi all, I'd suggest DOSBox too. I've made DOSBox IPS package almost without problems.
You've got to build and install the following dependency tree: libsdl-guilib at 1.2.1 libsdl-net at 1.2.7 libsdl-sound at 1.0.3 dosbox at 0.72 You can see my build steps at: http://wood.sandbox.cz/osol/libsdl-guilib.inc.txt http://wood.sandbox.cz/osol/libsdl-net.inc.txt http://wood.sandbox.cz/osol/libsdl-sound.inc.txt http://wood.sandbox.cz/osol/dosbox.inc.txt Please note that you may need to install development libraries and headers before compiling, I'm using the following on my system: pfexec pkg install SUNWgcc SUNWhea SUNWsfwhea FSWxorg-headers \ SUNWxorg-headers SUNWbison SUNWgmake \ SUNWflexlex SUNWgnome-common-devel SUNWaudh \ SUNWlcms SUNWlibm Cheers Hark James Andrewartha wrote: > Rich Teer wrote: >> Hi all, >> >> Has anyone managed to run DOS (e.g., OpenDOS) from in VirtualBox? >> I mean bare (virtual) metal DOS, rather than COMMAND.COM from in >> Windoze?
