Appearntly the data can be held as files on a webserver , at least the " apoc-config" has the possibility to set this up,
I would think that that quickly becomes unmanageable. We have almost 10.000 accounts at the site were I have deployed SDM . And having 10.000 profile files in a webserver is not that palatable. A database is better. You will benefit in the long run by deploying LDAP. This message posted from opensolaris.org
