Hey there, I've put together a summary of the current state of affairs as regards updating the desktop community grants -
http://www.gnome.org/~gman/desktop-voting.txt The current set of core contributors that need to vote on this are as follows - Brian Cameron Damien Carbery Darren Kenny Dermot McCluskey Doug Scott Erwann Chenede Glynn Foster Dave Lin Laszlo Peter Padraig O'Briain What does everyone (namely the core contributors) think about a meeting at 11am UTC on #opensolaris-desktop at irc.freenode.net http://tinyurl.com/26h4yl Having read the Constitution - o Contributors can be designated by the Core Contributors to have contributed substantively to that groups efforts. o Designation as a Core Contributor requires nomination of a participants by an existing Core Contributor, followed by a consensus vote (minimum of 3 +1's, and no -1's). So, I think the agenda should be to discuss the current set of guidelines put out by Ghee and Brian firstly. Then we'll discuss how this works within the current guidelines set out by the Constitution. Then we'll vote. Brian, I know you're going to be the odd one out here (5am I believe), given that most people are based in Europe. If you wish to send a proxy votes through me if you can't make the meeting then let me know. RSVP'ing would be helpful. thanks, Glynn
