The spec for gstreamer-plugins-bad lives in SFE/base-specs:
gst-plugins-bad.spec. I tried to build it with cbe, without lucky(Maybe
have time to investigate that later). But to build the source with
"./configure; gmake" works fine with almost no extra effort. After I
copy all the .so file into /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/, I can play m4a files:-)

Another gstreamer plugin which deserves a try is the ffmpeg plugin. The
spec is in SFE/encumbered: SFEffmpeg.spec. Songbird can play a big bunch
of media formats if it's available.
