Hi all, I recently made a backup of my Treo 680 using gpilot, so that I could perform a firmware update. The backup went well (there are lots of files in the target directory, and the data contained therein looks OK), but when I tried to restore the data after completeing the firmware update, it seems like nothing is restored.
The connection is made OK, and the on-screen messages imply that some sort of data transfer is in progress. The Conduits are set to either SUnchronise or Send to PDA, and when a transfer happens, no pertinant errors appear in the logs (just stuff about the Bluetooth database). This is using the gpilot that comes with Nevada b84. I use my Treo to manage ALL my contact info (including photos of some of my contacts), so I'd rather not have to re-type everything! Any help greatfully received!
