I just hacked the install.rdf it works fine, no pain.  If you mean gnupg 
is giving you issues, I'd understand, but I've only encountered one or 
two XUL applications that are platform-specific.  Specifics would be 
Windows Media Player (Plugin) and specific line of business applications 
for particular operating systems. (Eg: weird debuggers)
