>From what I remember, it's some window decoration related code breaking
and locking up X. If I'm fast enough, I can CTRL-ALT-Backspace out, but
if I wait a little, the keyboard also won't react anymore (can't kill X
anymore), although the mouse cursor continues to work.

Next time it happens, I'll try to get the error messages.
