Michael, Ekiga and Flash are the consumers. Actually I 'm not sure about the pixels grabbed from webcam manipulation between DTU and server. Per my understanding the case should be as alike as the standalone case that the apps get the pixels via V4L2(Video for Linux 2) interface and each DTU has a different webcam device exposed to the apps just like the SunAudio in SunRay env. Based on this the compression of the pixels on DTU side should be considered into the framework. I would discuss this problem with you at your convenience if there is a need.
