Yes, codeina is the program that helps people to download and install Fluendo plugins. Users can run it directly and pick which plugins to install. Or, if a user tries to play a media file with any GStreamer-enabled program which can not be played, then codeina is launched and it checks if Fluendo has a plugin to play this format. If so, a dialog is launched and the user stepped through the process of downloading and installing the plugin. If the user does this, the media file the user initially wanted to play is started at this point. The codeina application was added to Nevada in build 107 after we got marketing approval from Chris Baker. There were some bugs with codeina that were not fixed until build 108, so I would recommend testing with build 108 or later. The ARC case # was LSARC 2008/709. OSR is #10184.
