Vermillion is the unstable development build, which is with GNOME 2-25/26 (trunk). From the totem spec file: http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xref/jds/spec-files/branches/gnome-2-24/base-specs/totem.spec#125, the gmp-plugin is still disabled in GNOME 2-24 branch. So this plugins isn't in Nevada yet. That's to say, OpenSolaris b112 won't have it.
The change will have to be made into GNOME 2-24 branch so that it'll be in the upcoming OpenSolaris development build (b113 is the next). CC Jerry to confirm. BTW, you can get the vermillion bits from http://jucr.opensolaris.org/vermillion and here is the instructions for installation: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/jds/documents/installing_from_ips/.
