Hi, I recently upgraded snv_101b using the desktop package upgrade facility (it had informed me that new upgrades where available). I accepted to update all relevant packages. The package manager said all packages downloaded and installed and reported no errors.
A new boot environment called "opensolaris-1" appears in the grub window on reboot and when this BE is selected, the boot fails and the machine shuts-down / restarts. The problem repeats any time I select the "opensolaris-1" BE. My normal snv_101b boot works fine. Any ideas where I can start to diagnose this issue? Many thanks for your help.
