so by "WV" you mean WavPack and APE you mean Monkeys Audio. I am not aware of any codecs for these formats on [open]solaris (being that they are not common at all).
WavPack IMHO is open source so there is the possibility that it could be compiled with some work but I understand that Monkeys Audio is free but proprietary. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
