Hi Experts,

Greetings!

Can any one help me on this below issue.

1. How to set or change the default settings for the application
opening from Firefox.

Example : When we are trying to open Excel file (.xls) from Firefox the
file is opening by default with Star office. It can be changed to Open
office. So Customer wants to put the settings globally to
all the users to open with open office instead of Star Office.

Can you please guide us for this query, It will be great full to you all.

Thanks and regards

M. Subramanian.

Hi Subramanian,

We had some connection last Friday, but I'm sorry that the problem
persists. Maybe it's better if I can have direct GUI access to that
environment. Since I suspect the problem is related to gnome file
association, I'd recommend to ask in desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org.
Some GNOME experts might be able to help.

Cheers,
-Alfred
