The crash is caused by the Firefox 2.0.x on Solaris 10U5, it was compiled by an old compiler. There is an update patch on the way to solve it.
Meanwhile, you can download a Firefox from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest-2.0/contrib/ or use Mozilla 1.7 on Solaris 10.
