I run virtualbox-2.0.2 on a sxce.b99 host with Windows XP as a guest system. The sound in windows seems to work OK, -BUT- starting the xVM I get this warning message:
Audio (in the XP client) Host Driver Solaris Audio Controller ICH AC97 Some audio devices (PCM_in, PCM_mic) could not be opened. Guest applications generating audio output or depending on audio input may hang. Make sure your host audio device is working properly. Check the logfile for error messages of the audio subsystem. Error ID: HostAudioNotResponding Severity: Warning Mske sure the -host- audio device is working properly? I get no warnings loading the hdaudio driver in my sxce? What could be the "problem"; can I do something about it? -- Dick Hoogendijk -- PGP/GnuPG key: 01D2433D ++ http://nagual.nl/ + SunOS sxce snv95 ++
